IceCAT The ICECAT from Cooling and Applied Technology, Inc. is a prime example of a PLC controlled all stainless steel shell-and-tube vertical icemaker. The ICECAT utilizes a water basin and recirculation pump to move water through the tubes, and a proprietary water nozzle with stainless steel vent tubes that hold the nozzle in place during operation. The design goals of this equipment are to increase efficiency, ease of use and enhanced reliability. Units are available from 30 to 100 tons of ice per 24 hours for ammonia application. Units are ASME approved, 250 psi vessel. |
